Since it rained all day on Hannah's birthday we went to the aquatic center the next day. We stayed for more than four hours. The kids had a great time going around the lazy river, playing on the pirate ship and going down the slides. Hannah managed to pass the swim test so that she could go down the slides. She was so proud of herself. When I gave her a high five for her accomplishment and told her what a big girl she is now she said "yeah and I take showers too". Last week she gave up baths and moved on to showers like the rest of the family.
That night we went to see the community fireworks and did our own sparklers as well. Hannah got to stretch out the festivities of her birthday over two days. We had a fun fourth of July weekend.
