Grace Grammer loves rocks. So for her tenth birthday she chose to invites us on a rock trip. Cyndi, Nana, and me drove Morgan, Grace, Patrick, Emma, and Hannah to several different sites to find fossils and geodes in Ohio and Indiana. We cooked out our lunches and dinners but stayed in hotels at night for convenience and comfort. It was hot but we were very successful. We came home with buckets of rocks. It was a great bonding trip for everyone. Rachel had only had her casts and everything off of her leg after breaking it earlier in the year for about a month. She was still walking with a limp but she did great even climbing up and down hills in order to get the best geodes.
