Summer Fun

Each of the kids got to go to Nana and Papaw's house on their own for a few days this summer. Nana had lots of fun things planned for each of them while they were there. She took Rachel to the Fenton glass factory and on a trolley tour of Marietta, Jeremy got to go on a train ride and to the water park, and Hannah went to the doll factory. I think all of them had multiple trips to the dollar store. They all had great times and came home with lots of fun stories. Jeremy decided that he needs rootbeer floats before bed every night- so of course Nana provided them.

While the kids were in Marietta we found it fun and easier to go and do fun things with one less child. It's funny because it didn't matter which child was missing it just changed the dynamic having one child gone and things went smoother. We watched lots of movies, went to the swimming pool, went on bike rides, played tennis, went out to eat, and as pictured here we went to a kids museum near Uncle Don's house. Also pictured here is Rachel making us dinner. She has become quite good at it. Daddy and Jeremy went on their special bike ride that Richard took each of the kids on once they finally got bike riding down. While they were gone we kept Sarah busy in the sink and me and Rachel made crepes for dinner.
