Cheerleading Clinic

In an effort to help Hannah make friends and get involved we signed her up for a cheerleading clinic. She went to a clinic on a Saturday night with the JV cheerleaders. They taught them several cheers, some jumps and a few dances. Hannah had a great time. At the end of the clinic they did a little show for their families. The following friday night the girls got to go to the big battle of the Hard Road football game where the two high schools on Hard Road played each other. The girls from the clinic got to cheer for the first quarter right on the sideline with the other cheerleaders. They were so cute! and little!

I was actually quite impressed with how well Hannah remembered the cheers and stayed involved the whole quarter.

Her favorite thing to do was the jumps. She also liked the cheer where they barked like wolves.

At the end of the clinic they told the girls to go have their picture taken with their favorite cheerleader. Hannah said she knew exactly who she wanted and she ran over to Hannah Mills. I didn't even realize she was there. Hannah was excited that they had the same name and she knew her from church.

These are all of the girls. Hannah is sitting front and center.

Hannah was pretty excited that her Papaw was able to come see her cheer at the game. We stayed for the rest of the game which turned out to be very close and exciting. Hannah even got into it and learned about the game.
