Sarah's first birthday was very exciting for everyone. We started the day with Hannah and Jeremy's soccer game which was followed by an ice cream party and awards ceremony at their coaches house. After that we went home and Sarah got to open her presents with just a little help from her brother and sisters. She loved each of her gifts and just wanted to play with each one rather than move on and open another one. After Sarah's nap we went to Galaxy Games and Golf for a little fun in their fun gym. Sarah rode on several different types of cars and crawled around and went down slides but her favorite thing was the ball pits. Unfortunately I forgot the camera at home but it was very cute. She sank right down in them to where the balls were up to her chin. The other kids liked to jump in them and bury themselves totally and then jump out of them to surprise Sarah. She did not like it when we took her out of the pit. We took her here for her birthday since this is where we took the other kids after the ultrasound that told us we were having a girl. The kids played that day while Richard and I sat there and decided that we would name her Sarah Jane. After they played we had some pizza and then we went home for cake and ice cream. She thoroughly enjoyed her cake and ice cream. Sarah has been such a joy to our family. I think she is probably our most active baby (which is funny since she isn't even close to walking, standing or even properly crawling- she does any army crawl right now). She definitely makes more messes and bigger messes than anyone else in the house- and she is fast at it too. We often refer to her as the princess which she really is. She has all of us wrapped around her little finger. Hannah is always saying that Sarah is the cutest baby in all the world, Jeremy and Sarah have the sweetest relationship and are so happy when they are together, Rachel is such a good roommate and loves helping out with her, nana and papaw love all the cuddles and kisses that she gives to them and her mom and dad pretty much spoil her rotten. Like I said she is the princess of the family. We love you Sarah!
