Rachel tried out and got a solo at this concert. It wasn't actually a solo since she sang with four other kids but it was neat to see her come forward and sing out. When the concert started I couldn't find Rachel. I scanned through all of the kids many times before I started to freak out and think that something happened to her backstage. I was just about ready to go back stage and see if I could find her when I finally spotted her. She was wearing that silly yellow hat and I just didn't recognize her. It was a great concert. I got to sit in the front row- so for once I got pictures without anyone else in front of me.
