After taking over 900 pictures I had a hard time choosing which ones to include here. We rented a house on the outer banks with our friends the Williamsons. We had a great week of fun, sun, and surf. Each of the kids had a friend to play with and the adults got to take turns going out on dates in the evenings. The kids loved getting beaten up by the ocean and the pool was a very happy relief. Sarah developed quite a taste for sand and seashells. While we were there we went on a ferry, Rachel read another Harry Potter book, we visited several lighthouses, buried Richard in the sand, and we visited the humongous sand dunes. We are already planning a trip for next year- we can't wait.
