I think the kids have always felt a little deprived because they know that Richard and I both had woods to play in when we were little and they haven't. Well that has all changed now.
Our road actually dead ends into this. It's not a large area of woods but it's enough. It's full of trails and clearings to play in.
The kids were excited to play here but not really sure what they were supposed to do. I showed them how to get started building a fort and they took it from there. 
They are looking forward to lots of good memories made here.
