I decided that maybe if Sarah had a sandbox outside where she could make all the messes she wanted maybe it would spare the rest of my house for awhile. It kind of worked but the sandbox ended up getting pretty disgusting because I didn't put drainage holes in the bottom. Rain collected in it and got disgusting over time. Now Sarah has a paddling pool to play in.
