Some friends organized a mini olympics for the kids on the day of the opening ceremonies of the real olympics. We had our own opening ceremonies here- we even had our own chinese delegate.
The Pyes were the white team. Jeremy had a great time competing. Here you can see him jumping the high jump, throwing the javelin, cycling, jumping hurdles, playing soccer, and other various fun events.

Hannah also had a great time. She was one of the older girls there and really liked being looked up to by the other girls. She played hard and won a few events.

Our awards ceremony was one of the best parts of the night. Everyone won a couple medals and was awarded them with music and everything. It was a great day.
