Two Sundays before thanksgiving we decided that we would put the tree up and have the kids decorate it before church. This is the earliest we have ever put the tree up but we were getting ready to leave for the beach and just a few days after we get home I'm going to be hosting a relief society progressive dinner at our house for their Christmas party. I wanted the house to be festive and I was afraid I wouldn't feel up to it when we got home from the beach. It's actually very nice having the tree up and the house decorated so early.
