Tattoo

On the spur of the moment we decided that we had nothing to do on a friday night and the airforce base was having a celebration called tattoo so we decided to go. We really didn't know what it was or anything about it but we decided we would go anyway. We parked at the Nutter center and then waited in line forever to take a shuttle over to the celebration (this was actually after waiting in several lines in the car). It turns out that the line was taking so long because they were patting everyone down and going through everyone's bags before they could get on the shuttle. The shuttle took us across the base and over to the field next to the airforce museum. The had food vendors, jumpy castles, fly overs, and a band performing on stage. We got some food and sat and watched the band until the fireworks started. The fireworks were quite impressive. After they finished we had to wait in another long line to get the shuttle back to our car. It was a fun evening but I'm not sure it was worth all the waiting we did. We didn't get home until very late.
