This year we decided to get the kids involved in the garden. I've been using the square foot method for the last few years and it just turns out that I have three boxes set up so we decided that each child would be responsible for one box (Richard was going to work with Jeremy). We made it a little of a competition to help keep them motivated. Here are pictures of the kids planting their gardens. They were all very excited. Especially Hannah.

Since Sarah was only a few weeks old I knew I couldn't do this on my own so I was so glad that they all wanted to help. It turned out to be one of our best gardens ever.
We couldn't leave Sarah is out. This is how she participated. She stayed happy the whole time so that we could get it done.
