Valentines Weekend

We went to Cincinnati on valentine's day weekend to visit with our friends. Hannah and Allie wore their matching outfits and had their hair done in hearts for church. We enjoyed an amazing meal together and played a little in the snow. The following day Richard, Tom, Rachel and Matt went skiing. There was a big snow storm that didn't ruin their skiing but it made the ride home very difficult. Rachel had ski lessons when they got there. I think she enjoyed skiing but about a half hour before they were going to leave for home she fell again apparently but this time she didn't get up. The ski patrol got to her right away and took her down the hill. They braced it and sent them on their way to urgent care. The roads were terrible but they made their way to urgent care where they x-rayed her leg and then sent them on to children's emergency room. That meant more dangerous driving, more x-rays and more bracing of the leg. They finally made it home and I was so glad to see them all. We headed home the next morning and that was the beginning of a long road that I don't want to visit again.
